Macael CTAP is one of the main hubs for the stone sector.
It has a multifunctional building with more than 3,500 square metres, which houses the most advanced laboratories for developing new products and analysing natural or artificial stone.
- Primers Resins and Polymers Laboratory in Andalusia (Located at the University of AlmerÃa).
- Thermal and Mechanical Testing Laboratory.
- Physical and Chemical Testing Laboratory.
- Surface Treatment Laboratory.
- Industrial Laboratory.
For the development of eco-sustainable projects, we have an Environmental Laboratory, and an Investigational Greenhouse for Species Restoration and Research, located in the Macael mountain range.
In 2011 we started the first industrial experimental plant for the stone industry. The largest industrial test bed at an international level, which is located in a 100% business sector, it will provide over 10,000 m2 for the development of new products, applications and technologies.
